Holiday Energy

A man is but the product of his thoughts - what he thinks, he becomes.” -Mahatma Gandhi

I cannot stress the importance of protecting your energy this holiday season.

Energy is contagious. Whatever you give your energy to (what you focus on - your intention) will always manifest in the physical world. This is why they say guard your energy with your life. While we are all focusing on being folly and jolly-scrambling to finish our holiday shopping, searching for the ugliest sweaters, attending every holiday function for your family, and for your kids, instead of being filled with cheer, the holiday season can be overwhelming, chaotic, and exhausting.

I encourage you to take a moment a renew your energy. Do something that refreshes your mind, your body, and your soul.

Take a moment to be present. Take a moment to self reflect and pour into yourself so that you can wholeheartedly pour into others.

Take a moment to get your household in order-Organize, declutter, unfollow lol- and rid your space of peace disruptors.

FINALLY- It is okay to say no to others so you can say yes to yourself. As we head into 2020, DO NOT allow yourself to start the new year mentally drained and depleted. Amongst the holiday chaos, please find time to rest and renew.

XO,

Dom 💋

Creative Ways to Gift this Holiday Season

The power is in a gift card- Give the gift of a movie night, the gift of a delicious meal, the gift of an auto detailing for a sparkly clean ride. Gift cards are a convenient, versatile, and an excellent way to tell your loved ones how much you love them-without contributing to clutter.

Give the gift of no dirty dishes or eliminating a messy kitchen. Nothing says happy holidays, and I love you like a homemade meal delivered and sealed with love.

For those with little ones, gifting toys is not always a great idea-it can create clutter, and after two hours, most kids aren’t interested in the toy. Instead, offer to babysit for a parent's night out or come over and spend time with the little ones so parents can accomplish another task.

Finally, my favorite gift is to give the gift of your time — volunteer with the whole family. Nothing creates holiday joy and lasting memories like serving your community alongside the people you love.
